Subsoniq Instru-Mentals July 2010

Hear the lastest episode of Subsoniq "Instrumentals", which features a replay (in its entirety) of The Find Rewind mixtape recently released by The Find Magazine (http://thefindmag.com), who were extra cool with me putting it up for streaming so that those who didn't get one of the 100 cassette copies could still enjoy it too!  The full playlist and show is available on my Mixcloud page:

My goal is to get this instrumental hip-hop movement to be as global as can be, so let's all keep spreading the word... and music!

Subsoniq: Longevity Legends

***Disclaimer: We were on location this week and did not have our usual equipment, so we apologize for the quality of the voice breaks***

This week's new music show topics range from the new Big Boi album (and why Andre 3000 won't be on it), hip hop tracks that sample classic video games, and why the new Roots album brings about thoughts of longevity in hip hop and the obstacles that go with it. But lets not overlook the plethora of new music featured in this week's episode either. New joints from (Big Boi and The Roots of course), Eternia, Rakaa (of Dialted Peoples), J-Live, Apollo Brown, Forever Famicom, Styles P, Jadakiss, Janelle Monae, Freddie Gibbs, MF Borat (aka Doom), Kanye West, Miguel, and more!
