Exactly five years ago today we lost one of the greatest producers that ever lived (don’t sleep he was nice on the mic too). We’ve done lots of Dilla tributes over the years. In particular our three hour “For The Love” tribute that featured Q-Tip, Common, Questlove, and many more! It is one of our proudest moments as a show and it was an honor to put together that tribute for such a great musician. This year we found out our friends over at http://wonkabeats.tumblr.com/ unearthed the second hour of our “Dilla Day” tribute that aired on satellite radio back in 2008.
