In our continuing effort to bring you some of the classic shows from our extensive 10 year history, this week we dig up our 2008 interview with Ice Cube & WC. Hear them speak on how a warehouse full of records became the first full length solo album AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted under the direction of The Bomb Squad. Cube also remembers what it was like being one of the first hip hop acts to be invited to predominately rock dominated festivals like Lollapalooza, and why he thinks “escapism” hip hop seems to dominate the music scene today. Its one of our favorite interviews, so be sure to check it!
