I’d have to disagree that Drake’s song is any good or progressive hip hop! Was kinda disappointed to see his name along with some others on this playlist. Other than that the rest of the playlist is on point. Was glad to see new oddisee, rjd2, foreign exchange, deltron and black milk (those were my most liked tracks). Keep on doing what you do subsoniq!

I stand by what said and played. I think the song, of all his stuff this far, is the most fitting to be played on Subsoniq- a show that has stands on what we say in our Tagline- “hiphop without boundaries” and to discriminate against any artists I or leave them off because they are played on the commercial level- even ad nauseum, is totally against what we do. If its just a matter of not liking a song- cool but again it’s like when we played Kanye in 2005 or Kendrick in 2011- there’s gonna be differing opinions, that’s what keeps up listening. 😉

I haven’t even heard the song yet but I’m fine with it.

Its about the MUSIC not the names. Or the image the artist may have. People get too caught up in categories and boxes and get bent out of shape when its really their personal preference that’s the issue…the MUSIC is the MUSIC
